One of the joys of going to Disneyland is meeting your favorite characters. But over the years some of the most beloved ones are retired. They are replaced with the flavor of the moment that can be sometimes good or usually wear out there welcome as soon as they get there. With the park seemingly overrun by the princess’s, last week was a real treat at the park. Disneyland has been having Limited Time Magic and the latest one was Long Lost Friends. It was a chance to meet some great characters from the parks past. And in the case of Ludwig Von Drake myself and most others could never remember a meet and greet with him. Here is a video from Disney and below are pictures that I took with myself and my park buddy Laura. We had a blast but the lines were long and it was a real challenge to get to meet some of them. Ironically adults outnumbered the kids in line about 200 to 1. We went on Saturday and the area was hopping with excitement and local high school musicians were playing To help the lines move along after you had taken pictures you were given a character signature card from them. Hopefully Disneyland will do more things like this. It’s nice to see characters from Disney’s rich hand drawn animation history back in the park again. Maybe they will bring more back in the future.
