I am always on the lookout for arcades. There are so few around now that going to one is like taking a step back in time to when I visited local Los Angeles and Orange County arcades in the 1980’s and 1990’s before the implosion of the market in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s.
UPDATED: (4/30/14) I have been back to The Last Arcade on the Planet twice from when this original story was written and Juan has done a great job of fixing the minor issues that I had with some of the machines and he has added a few new games to the mix.

Well another E3 goes down in the history books as one of the more exciting shows in a few years. Both Microsoft and Sony showed off their new consoles and Nintendo showed off a number of franchise games.
Over the past weekend Disneyland quietly re-opened StarCade in Tomorrowland. Now it’s not as great as it was back in the 80’s when there was the wall of TRON machines but I think after the success of Flynns Arcade at California Adventures during ElecTRONica someone finally go the hint that people love and will pay money to play classic arcade and pinball machines.
