One of the big events at conventions is cosplay and this year at WonderCon I saw a huge number of attendees dressed up for all three days. The one thing that I really like about the WonderCon show is that there is a real diversity of costumes and characters that I saw during the weekend. I really enjoy when people go out side the box with both costumes and ideas. The thing that I look for is the imagination behind the costume and are they recreating a more obscure character. While I appreciate the professional cosplayers I love when people put more fun into an idea instead of money.

There were a lot of kids that dressed up and a lot of the parents that I talked to said that the kids were the ones that wanted to dress up and they helped them with the costumes. Some of my favorites ones are the Big Hero 6 group, Pam from Archer, Jonny Quest and Hadji, Popeye, Olive Oyl and Wimpy, the little girl as Kiki, the Log Lady from Twin Peaks, The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, the little girl as Agent Carter, the two guys who were dead on as the Zoolander team, Crazy Eyes from Orange Is The New Black, and the most impressive were the twins that were Jamie Madrox (Multiple Man) from the X-Men were pure genus!
