Over the weekend the Southern California Classic Collectors (SC3) group got together at Arcade 2084 for the first of two big fall 2016 events to finish out the year.
The first SoCal Retro Gaming Expo was held at the Frank and Sons Collectible show in the City of Industry over the weekend and it seemed to be quite the hit for its first outing.
Over the weekend the Pop Culture Maven crew set out to Banning California for the second annual Arcade Expo. The good news is that a number of the problems from the first show had been addressed and while there are still a few bumps in the road.
Saturday the Southern California Classic Collectors (SC3) group descended on Steve H’s home and it was one of the best to date.
One of the things that makes both pinball and video game machines fascinating beyond the game play of the machine is the artwork.
When I was at the Twin Galaxies/Arcade Expo facility In Banning California a few weeks back I was taking pictures with my Nikon D3300 and was playing around with the 50mm f/1.8g and started to take pictures of some of the pinball back glass and thought it would be neat to just take a picture of part of the artwork.
At the Twin Galaxies Festival over the weekend one of the best things at the show (besides playing classic video games and pinball of course) was getting to see the first public screening of Man VS.
October 2-4, 2015 celebrated the inaugural new home at the Museum of Pinball in Banning California and got off to a pretty good start.
Last Sunday I attended the press launch party for the relaunching of Twin Galaxies that will be a part of the Pinball Museum in Banning California that is also the home of the Arcade Expo.
