New Comic Book Reviews Week Of 3/9/16
It’s quite a large week for new comic book reviews so to get through as many as possible they might be a little briefer than usual, so on with them we go.

There are lots of returning books to the review list and a few new kids on the block this week so let’s get started.
This is one of the few weeks in recent history of these reviews that there were few #1 comics this week so it will allow for more reviews of current releases instead of just new books and that is a very welcomed sight.
You may have noticed that last week I had intended to review new comic books from 12/16 along with 12/23 releases.
Thankfully this was a lighter week of new releases and there were both good and bad this week and a couple of returning series, so let’s get to it!
frHopefully everyone had a good Thanksgiving holiday and today kicks off the Christmas shopping season with Black Friday. Make sure you stop by your local comic shop and most are offering special deals all weekend long.
It’s going to be short and sweet this week due to a hectic life schedule so here we go! Superman American Alien #1 DC Comics Writer Max Landis, Artist Nick Dragotta, Colorist Alex Guimaraes, Letterer John Workman This new mini series about the life of Superman is supposed to be seven short stories about different time periods in Superman’s life and the first issue takes place as a young boy and he is just discovering that he can fly but can’t control it.
There is a crazy amount of new books that hit the shelves this week so to get through as many as I can I will try to keep the reviews on the shorter side.
Well now that we are officially in the past (of Back to the Future timeline) this week brought a lot of new books and some returning champs to the mix in this weeks reviews.
After last weeks flood of new comic books this week was a bit lighter but still quite a few books to hit the shelves.
