I’m a bit under the weather this week so I will try to get to as many reviews before I pass out so please bear with me if some things sound a little strange.
Quite a few new series hit the shelves this week including even more new DC Rebirth titles. We also have a few returning books that hit the review stack this week so let’s get going, shall we.
A very big week for DC Comics with quite a few new #1 books and some returning ones that make this weeks review list.
With a skip week for DC Comic Rebirth we get a bit of a breather this week and get to catch up on some ongoing books this week and some new ones.
DC Rebirth marches on this week but overall is a nice light week for new comic books that is a nice change of pace.
It was a huge week for new comic books and the start of the summer season with many events and big titles hitting the shelves so I will try to get in as many as I can this week.
Lots of books this week with a surprisingly strong showing from Marvel Comics. So let’s get to this. Renato Jones The One % #1 Image Comics Writer/Artist/Colorist Kaare Kyle Andrews, Letterer Jeff Powell Renato Jones is a title that on the surface has an odd visual style at first glance but once you start to reading the book you soon discover that it quite smart and snappy.
A busy week for new comics but very little from the Marvel and DC but lots of independent companies had some good releases this week.
Criminal: Tenth Anniversary Special Edition Magazine Image Comics Writer Ed Brubaker, Artists and Design Sean Phillips & Elizabeth Breitweiser In a throwback to the old Warren and Marvel magazine comics Brubaker and Phillips along with Breitweiser celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Criminal with a special treat for both new and old readers.
