My niece has gotten to the age (13) where she wants to watch horror films and while I was excited that she has gotten to the age where she is able to watch some, there are still many that she is far to young to experience at that age.
As we are less than a week away from Halloween today we take a look at the final batch of underrated horror films that you should watch to get you into the Halloween spirit.

This has been a very busy week here at Pop Culture Maven. With E3 in town this week it’s been a whirlwind of craziness and trying to do a ton of things then try to update the site.
Normally I have new post up on the site on Monday, Wednesday and Friday but with today being Halloween I thought it deserved a special treat.
During the 1980’s there was the real golden age of modern horror films. There were two film specifically that started the slasher craze, Tobe Hooper’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre and John Carpenter’s Halloween.
It’s been a busy week so sadly I have only read a few of this weeks books so I’m checking out four number 1 issues this week.
With the release of Hannibal on Blu-Ray and DVD this week from Lionsgate Home Entertainment Pop Culture Maven is celebrating with an all Hannibal week on the site.
Last week I reviewed Shout Factory’s really nice Blu-Ray release of The Howling on there Scream Factory label. This week to help you start getting in the mood for Halloween (you can never start to early for Halloween).
