With a skip week for DC Comic Rebirth we get a bit of a breather this week and get to catch up on some ongoing books this week and some new ones.

DC Comics Rebirth week two hit with 5 new titles and lets see how they stack up. Action Comics #957 DC Comics Writer Dan Jurgens, Artist Patrick Zircher, Colorist Tomeu Morey, Letterer Rob Leigh The one thing that I have never figured out with DC is that while Superman is a great character why they keep insisting on publishing so many titles with him or based upon him.
Another big week for new comic books as we start to head into the summer season when the flood of comics hits the stands.
Lots of books this week with a surprisingly strong showing from Marvel Comics. So let’s get to this. Renato Jones The One % #1 Image Comics Writer/Artist/Colorist Kaare Kyle Andrews, Letterer Jeff Powell Renato Jones is a title that on the surface has an odd visual style at first glance but once you start to reading the book you soon discover that it quite smart and snappy.
Criminal: Tenth Anniversary Special Edition Magazine Image Comics Writer Ed Brubaker, Artists and Design Sean Phillips & Elizabeth Breitweiser In a throwback to the old Warren and Marvel magazine comics Brubaker and Phillips along with Breitweiser celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Criminal with a special treat for both new and old readers.
Lots of new titles to get to this week so off we go! Goldie Vance #1 Boom! Box Writer Hope Larson, Artist Brittney Williams, Colorist Sarah Stern, Letterer Jim Campbell All ages book are a real tough thing to get right and Goldie Vance is that rare case.
It’s a really light week of reviews this week. Next weeks reviews will be delayed till the following week because I will be out-of-town on vacation so I’m guessing that they will be doubled up the following weeks reviews.
A nice light week of new comic books hit the stands and only a few new #1 issues with some returning series to the review pile.
Things are back in the groove this week with a few new #1 books and I am able to keep up with some of the ongoing series.
A surprisingly light week of new books with only a few new number one issues. I’m glad I get to catch up on more running series for the reviews for a change.
