Things are getting a little bit back to normal here at Pop Culture Maven. There are still a few SDCC stories to post over the next few weeks but we can not forget to do new comic book reviews for this week.
There were certainly a lot of fireworks in this weeks new comics. What better way to spend the holiday then reading some independent comics that came out this week.
A lot of books came out this week including three all ages books that made the list this week. There is a slight change in where the book for review are now purchased from.
I think some of the best gifts you can give someone for the holiday is the gift of film or television.
During the 1980’s there was the real golden age of modern horror films. There were two film specifically that started the slasher craze, Tobe Hooper’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre and John Carpenter’s Halloween.
