It was a huge week for new comic books and the start of the summer season with many events and big titles hitting the shelves so I will try to get in as many as I can this week.

One of the WonderCon panels that I was very excited to go to was the DC Comics new Hanna-Barbera line of comics that starts in May 2016.
DC Comics recently announced that they are re-launching a line of Hanna-Barbera line of comics but instead of aiming them just for kids they are having top talent make them for a wider audience just like the original animated series did back in the 1960’s.
With DC Comic Convergence first moth coming to a close I’m back to regular reviews. While I will still review some of the Convergence titles but just the ones that I thought were the better ones of the bunch.
One of the big events at conventions is cosplay and this year at WonderCon I saw a huge number of attendees dressed up for all three days.
Every year we all run around like mad people trying to find the perfect gift for that someone special. If that special someone is a proud geek or nerd then sometimes it’s eve harder to find something for them.
In September 30th 1960 a milestone in animation history was made when Hanna-Barbera’s The Flintstones premiered on ABC. It ran for six season and opened the door to other prime time series from Hanna-Barbera The other series were Top Cat (1961), The Jetsons (1962) Where’s Huddles (1970) and Wait Till Your Father Gets Home (19702).
A friend of mine posted this picture of a Wham-O Super Elastic Plastic and it got me thinking that stuff like this was the toys of my childhood.
