There were some great panels that the Long Beach Comic Con Expo had at this last weekends show but one of the ones that was my favorite was the Mike Kunkel panel.
There are two current Kickstarter that you might be interested in and still have time to get in on them. First up is Mike Kunkles:
Long Beach Comic Con was back in the southland over the weekend and I was able to attend both Saturday and Sunday and this years show was a big improvement over last falls so-so showing.
Last weekend there was a new comic book store that opened in downtown Orange California. Big Red Comics who has a store in the Buena Park Mall has added a second location in the old town district of Orange.
It’s been a whirlwind of a week with WonderCon Anaheim last weekend and getting sick and busy week at the old 9 to 5 job I’m lucky that I had time to even read this weeks new books.
There are a number of great Kickstarter projects that I have funded over the last year. Some are still waiting to be fulfilled and most have already been received.
As Long Beach Comic Con celebrated its 5th year in Long Beach California there were lots of artist and writers on hand to show their books and art off.
So this week there are four number 1 issues that hit your local comic book store. So lets see if any of them are worth keeping on your pull list for the future.
Updated 11/13/13 The rise of crowd funding has been unprecedented over the last few years. We have seen a lot of well-known comic book creators take to Kickstarter with their self published work and bypassing the traditional distribution channels.
