While Disney and Lucasfilm decided no to have a Rogue One: A Star Wars Story panel this year they did however bring some of the costumes from the movie and have them on display in the Star Wars pavilion on the exhibiters floor.
I’m still trying to play catch up on all of the SDCC photos from this years show. Today we look at DC Directs toys and statues that are planned for the near future.
One of the biggest draws on both the exhibitors floor and in the Gas Lamp district is the Peanuts merchandise from the Charles Schulz Museum and there are long lines to get exclusive merchandise.
On May 14th 2016 one of the greatest talents in comics Darwyn Cooke left us. His talent was without measure and his loss hit us all very hard.

In less than 24 hours the great trek of geeks will descend on San Diego California for Comic Con International or more old school San Diego Comic Con.
Yesterday would have been Will Eisner’s 99 birthday and while he may no longer be with us the legacy of his influential story telling continues to inspire and delight readers.
